We are learning about Map Skills in Social Studies. Working with children is amazing for different reasons; seeing how they use their creativity is one of them! They see the world from a different perspective. I just gave them some markers and here are the results… Their Treasure Island Map (with a compass rose, an invisible bridge, a buried treasure, a volcano, a treasure cave… all you can imagine on a Secret Island)
Hui Sang’s Black Forest
Jessie working on her Treasure Cave
Gavin’s Monkey Land
Malika drawing a Pirate Ship
EJ’s Caravel
Riley’s Invisible River and Bridge
Da Eun’s Buried Treasure
Irene’s Compass Rose
